InBody Dial

The results of the InBody test may vary

If you stand with incorrect posture, the results may vary. Ensure that your hands and feet make proper contact with the electrodes. Maintain this posture until the InBody test is completed. If you have dry hands and/or feet, clean them with an InBody Tissue before testing. InBody recommends testing at the same time of day and under the same conditions for accuracy.

What is the normal range for visceral fat level?

Visceral fat level is InBody's method of rating visceral fat on a scale from 1 to 20. For adults, a visceral fat level below 10 is considered normal. The lower the visceral fat level, the better.

What does my InBody score mean?

Your InBody Ranking is based on a formula that compares your weight, muscle mass, and body fat mass. Someone with a high percentage of body fat will have a lower score compared to someone with a lower percentage of body fat. Reduce body fat mass to see your ranking improve.

What if the user does not know their height?

Height is important for obtaining accurate InBody test results. Measure the user with a stadiometer for the best results.

How can you ensure that the results stay on the screen longer?

The InBody test results are displayed on the LCD screen for 100 seconds. If you want to view your InBody results for a longer time, turn the dial on the InBody Dial.

If the user's thighs or armpits touch each other, will it affect the test results?

Yes, if the user's thighs or armpits touch, have the user wear a light shirt with short sleeves and shorts to obtain accurate results.
